The first one was on a subject of perennial interest to our members, marketing and PR. It led by a longstanding friend and supporter of Black Women Mean Business, Jenny Francis of Jenny Francis Associates.

The next in that years series of seminars was on computer and technology. This was sponsored by Microsoft. They provided ten computers to enable workshop participants to have hands on experience and it was led by Leo Hannah, a business development manager from Microsoft. This workshop was particularly well received.
